The Blackhawks 10th summer season for youth, high school, and adult players will get underway at Cash-Bagley Fields, 4700 Old Hollow Road, Kernersville [effective June 10, 2018, all programs will be played at Ivey Redmon Athletic Complex, 788 Beeson Road, Kernersville]. during the week of May 21, 2018. The new Blackhawks will be run by their top coaches – Sam Newland, Tyler Haines, Justin Pearson, Shannon Robinson, Patrick Bruning and others.

- A separate high school travel team tryout to be held on the afternoon of Sunday, April 29.
- A higher level of preparation and competition for the Blackhawks travel team, without sacrificing the commitment to its popular HOTT lax “house” league program and the teaching of fundamentals during position clinics. The travel team will practice regularly, in addition to participating in HOTT Lax games and position clinics, in order to be better prepared to compete. The Blackhawks will play in at least two area tournaments on consecutive weekends: Southern Sizzle in Charlotte on June 23-24 and Freedom Cup in Winston-Salem on June 30-July 1.
- Day to day operation of the high school Blackhawks by its best, most-experienced, and energetic young coaches, who will draw on their considerable college playing experience to run college-level drills and practices.
- Youth: Will begin on Tuesday, May 22 and end of Tuesday, June 26, with regular sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Cost: $140 (early bird discount of $25 for registrations received by Sunday, April 29). Focus is on fundamentals and short-sided scrimmages.
- High School. Will begin on Monday, May 21 and end on Thursday, June 28, with regular sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Focus of Blackhawks summer program is on player development, position clinics, and HOTT lax league participation. Players selected to the travel team will, in addition to participating in HOTT Lax and position clinics, will have a mandatory travel practice every Thursday. Cost: $235 ($185 if received by Sunday, April 29). Travel players should expect additional fees of $215 per player to cover coaching and tournament fees. Travel team tryout on Sunday, April 29 at 4:00 PM at Cash-Bagley Fields open to all registered Blackhawks players. The Blackhawks expect the April 29 tryout to be the primary, if not exclusive, venue for selection of the high school travel team (s). However, the Blackhawks may in their discretion schedule an additional tryout or choose players from the HOTT Lax league.
- Adult. HOTT Lax games on Sundays beginning June 3, with playoffs on Sunday, July 1. Cost $75 ($50 if received by Sunday, May 13).
